Crockett County has a new girls basketball coach after the "resignation" of Kaitlin Dudley.  Assistant coach Megan Witherspoon was promoted.

Bolton High School is looking for a girls head coach. Team should compete for district 14aaa title for the next two years.

Walker Valley hired Junior Tucker. They kept Dycus as assistant. Dycus did well with them in camps this summer including jv going undefeated with a good group of freshman.

Just got word Drew Johnson resigned at Columbia Central, accepted an asst position at Hendersonville... Thought Central is a good place to coach? Central has had three solid years the past three yrs.. Third coach to leave in past three years.. Why the turnover?

I think the turnover is more of a reflection of the people Columbia has hired recently. Botenhamer has never stayed anywhere for very long...neither has Johnson. Both are quality coaches with nice resumes but for whatever reason, they don't seem to stay in one place very long. I think the turnover has less to do with the Columbia job and more to do with the coaches.
