Yeah I do. If they are smart ... they would move the game to Saturday morning to allow families to stay the night that Friday and the come home after the game. Either way, Whitehaven would travel.

Kwc, I've given this some serious thought. If it was to be a Saturday game at noon then we could make a nice little weekend trip out of it. We will want to keep DB and mairvul on our schedule. Everyone at SCHS looks forward to those games. But our contract with bearden is up after this year. If we could play Whitehaven as our first game, and it was an early Saturday game, I see us bringing a big crowd to Memphis

Don't Drive 6 hours to play us when there are plenty of VA and NC High School powerhouses that are much closer

Unless yall want them Ls LOL

If a team puts together their schedule worrying about losses, then they have already lost. Programs like Sevier Co. arent intimidated by any program (they play Maryville every year), but it costs a lot to bus 100-150 people 4-6 hours away for just 1 game. Siegel has to go to Chattanooga McCallie, Science Hill, and Beech in consecutive weeks. I can only imagine how spending that much money on travel can put a strain on your program

As long as there are no lodging fees, it won't be that bad. Murfreesboro isn't more than 2 hours away from any of the 3 spots mentioned, right?

Science Hill is probably 4-5 Hours, McCallie is probably 2-3 by bus once you figure in the time change. Beech is probably a little over an hour. Thats alot of money being used for gas.

We don't play VA or NC teams for a state championship. Once we slay the red dragon im sure Whitehaven or white station will b waiting for us in Cookeville. Plus Whitehaven has all them D1 recruits. That game would game would give our boys a chance to b seen by scouts

So where is Science Hill? Isn't it in the Knoxville Area?

VA and NC, as a whole, has BETTER High School football than TN... There are just as many D1 recruits at one of those Tide Water VA programs or Charlotte NC
