Why is Ridgeway going to Paris again?

 

Good question LBD. I can't say definitively why they are traveling to Paris again after traveling to play them TWICE last year. I personally have a theory, based upon my experiences with Whitehaven's program over the years but it's nothing I will state on here.

 

However, I'll give a GIANT kudos to the Ridgeway coach though. He's a 'we'll play anybody, anywhere' type of coach. It would have been nice to see Henry County travel to Memphis to return the favor ... but why travel to Memphis to face a very TOUGH Ridgeway team on their turf, when YOU DON'T HAVE TO?

Week 4 Hendersonville vs Gallatin. Neither team likes each other. Last year on TV it was a slugfest going down to the last possession. If you can go to SC for a game then middle Tenn would not be a bad drive.

Are you going to see the Byrnes Rebels (catchy name) in Duncan, SC or Burns Bulldogs in Lawndale, NC?  Maryville got a pretty fair offensive lineman from Burns, NC a few years ago.

My former HS coach when I lived in NC before coming to TN left my old school to coach at Burns. Matt Beam was/is one heckuva coach. Should have a NC State Title in his hands soon
