My point is, given the stats of the DB-East Hamilton game you can not say that East Hamilton dominated DB.  Again here are the stats

First Downs

15

7

Rushing Att-Yards

48-258

25-72

Passes Comp-Att-Int

7-14-4

6-16-0

Passing Yards

65

90

Total Offense

323

162

Fumbles-Lost

3-0

1-1

Penalties/Yards

11-85

7-71

Punts-Average

3-44.0

5-32.0

Tell me again how East Hamilton dominated DB on the field?  DB racked up yards and gave you 3 turnovers. I recognize the score, but physically....no.  And sorry no matter what you think, your efforts would fall way short against Maryville in a game.  Again DB has beaten Maryville in scrimmages before, and later been whipped in a game.

MOST IMPORTANT STAT THAT YOU LEFT OUT: THE SCORE - TRE HERNDON AND THE CANES 33 -DB 21 B)

Scrimmages are to see what will work and what won't and to figure out who should start and who won't.  That team from East Hamilton did look good last year in that scrimmage and their defensive line looked bigger than Tennessee's. The only thing is the fans in the stands are trying to make a real game out of it but the coaches aren't. It's to get the boys ready for the upcoming season and not for wins and losses.

Bud you have been on here long enough to know better than to play this guy's game. You've seen a whole bunch of them in the past. But PA is kinda different, still just a pain in the rear. He'll go away in a year or so but we'll still be here.

Agreed. But if you think that why are you so convinced that the Govs don't have a chance because they had one bad showing in a scrimmage against a team that is pegged to win it all in 2014? It just puzzles me...

    • Wouldn't the easiest move be to move McCall up to HS Principal and have Gulley take over as MS Principal?
    • Bounder, you are correct. And it is so easy today. As a civilian today, I can check my 6th grade grandson’s grades in real time. 46 years ago as a young head coach, I knew who were my weak students and would do a weekly check. A decade and 1/2 later as an administrator, I would ask guidance for attendance, and grade reports as I did my own discipline reports. 5 years later I could run all those reports in a few minutes. today Text one the Secretaries and they can create a red flag report only printing the names with D’s and F’s or attendance and discipline issues. You are not even dealing with a whole team. The only problem with modern technology is someone who might not want to know.
    • No I didn't,  I just know jellico lost a few and should in playoffs tho....but they have alot coming in the next few yrs
    • The buck stops with the head coach, he should have know if any of his players  were not making the required grades. Either he has someone checking weekly before games and reporting to him or he should do it himself.
    • Freedom Prep has discontinued their football program. These are the teams that were on their schedule in case you are looking for a game:
