Hope the rest of 9aaa faired better than we did. Hville is for sure the powerhouse this year and for a couple of more years. We had moments of brialliance tonight, and then the opposite end of the spectrum. Kids just made mistakes, that cost us penalities. The defense spent the majority of time on the field due to the bad field position caused by the penalties. But the kids kept trying and the coaches kept coaching. Right now thats all ya can ask for. I will say its awesome that for the first time in a long time, our kids schools administrators, (principal and AD), come to every ballgame and give the kids encouragement. They have supported these kids, when others havent. For that, I thank them. Now the real meat grinder of the schedule starts. Good luck to the rest of 9AAA, praying for safe games.

This wc team will not get out of it's own way. 7 turnovers, and lost by 14 points. You can not continue to have turnovers. The d was backed up on their own 20 again 3 times in the 1st quarter. O scored and moved the ball at will. Big week this week. Mj and wc will be playing for the tops of the rest of 9aaa with HHS at 1.

Interesting district. Or lack of interest, how ever you want to look at it.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
