Looks like Alcoa is putting it together at the right time. Catholic beat Grace 69-56 so next weeks games are HUGE for the Irish. At Alcoa, home vs. Maryville and at CAK

Alcoa has athletes and it appears they are starting to adjust without Teeter.  Very dangerous team to play especially at tournament time.  District 4AA, is better then most teams think. A lot of people look at the records but don't realize that Catholic, CAK, and Alcoa have played very tough schedules. Our district could shock some teams come regional time.  I heard a rumor that Northview Academy might be placed in district 4AA (something about a possible 20% increase), can anyone confirm or is it just that....talk.  

 

On a side note, I have to agree with chill; CAK beating Webb (and sweeping Webb this year), without Reynolds, is impressive. Also I hope Hunter has a speedy recovery. I got to know him last year during AAU, and he's a great kid and he has wonderful parents.

We have athletes and have played a tough schedule this year, but we should be better than 7-15, but it is what it is. I wouldn't be surprised if Northview Academy joined our district, even tho they're within the "zone" for District 3AA.

 

And I'm glad to hear that about Hunter.

Hunter did well on his concussion test probably out 2 to 4 weeks.  CT scan showed no other damage.  Hopefully he will be back for region tournament

Those concussions are scary, my son had one as a freshman and a real nasty one this year. The long term health and well being is important. I'm glad it wasn't worse.
