I guess not being there to see it I shouldn't say anything. I can remember a few Maryville has played in the past where everything in the world went wrong for the other side and no matter what you did

If by playing down a class, and beating up on single a schools..is what u mean by vicariously.then, heck yeah.

If by single a you are referring to Alcoa why not get Gaddis to schedule them and let me know how your "beating up" on them goes. Of course according to some he is trying to move to the NFL because he likes to play the best. Your obsession continues to flatter us.

That's a good point that you made about "hearing"The fearless Oak Ridgers. Because I was up in the stands at that game the other night, And I heard from them alright.. I had no idea that pads could echo that loud.

The only thing I remember from Friday night was 28-3 and the announcer going on about Gaddis dancing in a hula skirt.to raise money. I'm not going to let one rotten apple ruin the whole basket because I do have a lot of respect for Oak Ridge and enjoyed going over there Friday night and watching the gave with a lot of good home town fans that came out to support their team and I do hope the best for them and would love to see the kid from Maryville do great there this year.

Are you saying that Oak Ridge could not beat the single-A school? Are you saying that Maryville didn't play down a class?

      Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.

      Couldn’t agree more.. Tate is a special kinda player , but fortunately for us we get a best of 3 series. I think our pitching is better than last year when we made the trip to west tn. Should be a fun 2 or 3 games.
