How has Rockwood looked in the preseason? Who all have they scrimmaged?

  Its a good test to start the season but I also think Oneida will be the victor. I sure wouldn't take it for granted. Rockwood can field a pretty solid team. Fun way to start the season.

Some would say opening with Rockwood then following that with a trip to Hampton is down right crazy. We just like playing hard nosed, pound the rock on O, bow your neck on D kinda teams.

It is a good test right off the bat, and really to make your team better, it should be scheduled that way.  I can't see losing to either Hampton or Rockwood as killer, except maybe from a confidence standpoint.  Having said that, I think our bunch will be ready for both the Tigers and the Pujo Pups.  Our defense could be very good when #40 gets back.....and I think they will be fine until that happens.  There seems to be plenty of solid kids on that side of the ball (ball hawks and good tacklers)  On offense, the maturation of the line is going to be the biggest goal.  We have plenty of kids that can tote the rock and catch the ball.  Take your pick.  I like how Lambert is bringing this group along.  Although difficult, both games are certainly winnable.

I would say Oneida  31-14. I was told Rockwood scrimmaged Scott and Scott handled them pretty easily. This is second hand information so if any of the Rockwood folks have anything different please chime in.

kaz you and crow both know rockwood is gonna give Oneida their best game..... Don't think for a min this game is goin to be handled easy. I think the tribe will pull it out but you better believe it will be in the 4th quarter if we do. We need to get on that back they got early and often(#1) he is real talented.... I hope we can make some big time plays this week

Ain't no doubt in my mind RW is gonna bring everything they got & leave it all on the field. I still like our chances but it is gonna be a game.

Whole different game buddy. Scott is twice the size of Rockwood and arguably in the toughest district in 3A/4A and blew them out in last years scrimmage too. Don't count them out. Rockwood is a good team and should be a good game as always. Still this will be a good way for the Indians to start things off with a win and hopefully gives them momentum for the rest of the season. Pullin for the fellas next door as always.
