To be a little off topic here. Harper is no doubt the difference in the ball game maybe two touchdowns better. Macon just wanted it more and caught so many breaks it wasn't funny. Hartsville shot themselves in the foot all night long. Also did not see the logic in putting Harper in for one play in the second overtime.

it ant been politics your just saying that cause you don't like certain ones.most after jr.high don't play high school because they've played since they was 4 year old. they've been burned out.macon problem hasn't been coach'n or politics.and the smartest thing the fresh. qb has ever done was leave sulfertown.

Since 2000 how many coaches has Macon gone through, and that's not the problem? I guess that's why all successful programs gets a new coach every 2 years.

 

And the smartest thing he may have done was too leave RBS....who knows! I'm just excited to see him mature as a player...But I'm done talking about a 15 year old on a website....

Hit the nail on the head with that statement . Also he went in for two plays , first time he tried to run the ball , second time he handed the ball off . If he has a pulled hamstring the coach is asking for trouble down the road , you don't play someone with that type of injury .

Even Alabama looses a game every once in a while, the jackets will be just fine. They don't stand a chance of loosing a district game, winning the district gives them an auto 1st or 2nd seed in playoffs and that's all that matters. Let's talk in November.

I think he was the jr. high coach. Hard to play mistake free in your first game...pretty impressive.

Wilson was the Jr High coach for several years at MC, and did a great job. He played on the semi final 2003 team. The QB of that team Shaw, is also on the staff coaching offense. Also on that staff from 2003 class is Dyer coaching defense, son of MC's coach in 2003, member of the 2003 quater final SC team who lost to Macon. Also I beleave a Defense coach is York, who is also the new Jr High coach. He is the older brother of Connr York who played qb for Upperman 2013 team. Great coaching staff.
