He is an awesome player. I'm glad we won and we did a good job but I honestly think we should've put 60 up on them. In my opinion we left a lot of points on the field. Give them credit though.Their kids play hard and Thackerson is one of the best HS Qbs you will see anywhere

Thackerson is right up there with Todd Helton as one of the best I have ever seen. He is a right armed Todd Helton. Both are/were almost impossible to sack. We still got about 4 or 5 sacks on him though, but dang he has great footwork. Only a dang JR, too. I have been around HS football for a long time and they don't make 'em much better.

To hold them to 21 points is pretty dang good. They scored 19 on AC in the first game of the season and I'm sure they have improved even since that game. It's hard to keep Thackerson contained. I could see him going to a good college. The only thing stopping him is his height. Don't think he is very tall.

Still think we could've played better, but I am hard to please as a fan. Way too many penalties tonight. Refs couldn't seem to keep them in their pockets. I thought it was another poorly officiated game and that goes both ways. And one more thing Tee Higgins is awesome.

Yes, we left too many points on the field.  Worse officiating I have seen in a good while.  I thought we were much more in sync on offense.  However, we still have a lot of work to do, especially with the O line.  Thackerson is an awesome QB.  I thought for the most part, that we kept him contained.  We held Clinton 4 times on 4th down.  Clinton lack of a kicking game is hurting them bad.  Look for Malik to get the ball more, the guy can fly.

He sure can. He has eye opening speed. That speed sweep for the TD was a sight to behold.

Yea, just another weapon to use.  What I like is seeing Middleton attract an instant triple-team just by being on the field.  It really opened things up for Tee.
