They are called William Blount. The team consists of kids from Carpenters and Union Grove Middle. Their colors are a combination of the two schools colors. Silver for Carpenters and Navy blue from Union Grove. Their uniforms look like the Dallas Cowboys unis, they look sharp.

I know they lost to Sevier and beat seymour but I don't know much else. I do know they will eventually be very good. Rick young is a very highly regarded coach and the two schools have had good teams in the past individually. I expect to see good things from them.

I'm sure they will be tough after being combined. Can only help. I honestly wish both OR middle schools would combine. I think it's better for the overall state of the program because once the kids get to HS they are already used to playing with one another. I wish OR would do it, but we never will.

I think it will be huge for us in the future.

Maryville does it but we just let starz hand pick a select few of the other schools kids and combine them with the rest of MJHS athletes!!

Until we get better coaches william blount will continue to lose that awful defense we have is same one they use out west and it does not work against spread offenses if u noticed every running back has ran more than 250 yards thats pitiful fans are sick of it

Ive heard from several people this week asking wat defense we run and they said we have bad coaching we have some great athletes we just need a good coach

The defense actually looked much improved this past friday. But it remains to be seen if they will continue to improve and consistently perform at that level or better. We only gave up 26 points which is 8 less points than we have given up in the past 2 games. Hardin Valley had better athletes and had more team speed than either of the teams we had played before.

hardin valley wasnt that good at all i watched the whole game we pretty much gave it to them mo east wasnt as good either i just feel that our coaches are way in over there head
