I would rather have Grundy fans eat at my dinner table then any (Wannabe Baylor) Signal fans. Typical Signal will try to hang 100 to build stats.

CPB is not worried about stats or putting a 100 on anyone. Eagles could have pur 100 on Bledsoe in the the first half but CPB pulled starters with 9:00 minutes still in the second qtr. Against Red Bank, Eagle starting offense ran less than 1/3 of the offensive plays in that game.I think the sophomore stud RB for the Eagles touched the ball 10 times against Red Bank...the Irish fed Banks the ball @25 times last week against a week Boyd...whose padding stats?

I'd pay to see Ooltewah play Baylor or McCallie

BAYLOR OR MCCALLIE IS NOT THE STANDARD IN CHATTANOOGA....UNTIL THEY CAN GO TO MIDDLE AND EAST TENNESSEE AND WIN...THEY ARE MEDIOCRE TO ME...MCCALLIE/BAYLOR GAME IS FOR LOCAL ENTERTAINMENT/BRAGGING RIGHTS ONLY...BEAT ENSWORTH, BRENTWOOD AND THEN YOU GET MY ATTENTION...

YEAH THEY WAX A DEPLEATED AND WOUNDED CLEVELAND THE PAST 2 YRS IN A ROW.....BUT GET BOUNCED OUT THE PLAYOFFS EARLY WHILE CLEVELAND GETS TO THE SEMIS...GO FIGURE...

...people only have a tendency to think they are the standard because of the # of championships they are able to pad the walls with.....which is awesome for the kids; but is kinda misleading when it comes to THE STANDARD....they have to compete against a very very small number of schools across the state compared to the other classes....they are basically assured a place at championship weekend no matter where they finish in there district/region :popcorneater:

First: why are we wanna be Baylor fans? If we wanted our kids at Baylor they would be there.

Second: Who wants to eat at your dinner table?

Third: if CBP wanted to pad stats he has had plenty of chances this year to do that.

I think its great how he has put the freshman kids in for expeirence. It'll pay off at a later date.

Haters always gonna hate!

GO EAGLES!!!!!

    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
    • He was pretty darn good for a freshman, but he will have a hard time seeing the field at Oakland for a good while, I’m afraid.
    • Dang I feel bad for the kid. I’m sure he loves his dad and wants to do anything for his dad but I don’t think he realizes his dad isn’t doing the best for his football career if he keeps jumping schools.
    • I’m not taking shots at the kid, but “athlete” is not something I would use to describe him. He was a long, lengthy, defensive back
    • Mistakes like that should never happen.
