I heard a strained tendon in his foot! I'm not sure how accurate that info is though! Haven't heard how long he's out!

Im guessing #8 will be a deep guy on kickoffs in Turnbows place beside Mathis but don't know if Mathis will be a hundred percent after spraining his ankle last week. I would hate to be a coach and have to make these decisions, it's been nonstop this year!

He's in a boot with tendon damage. He's saying something like 4-6 weeks. If we can keep the other healthy, we will have developed a lot of depth by the end of the year. Not exactly the way the coaches drew it up I'm sure.

Lookout Perry County, you fixing to see how deep we are. The cats will be playing a lot of second and even third teamers early this Friday night. It's all because we are running on one leg right now with all the injuries. Hate these injuries, but I'm looking forward to the game. I think these younger players are up to the task and I know they will perform well.

70 is ready to play defense if needed, if not then only offense again. From what I have seen PC won't have an answer for the WC run game and if the same defense shows up that had the past two weeks then this game will get ugly.

Like i've said before, the other Linden posters are pretty much done with anything associated with Perry County athletics. Kids come and go and so do the fans. I for one have not since i have a nephew on the team. Hope Waynesboro has a safe trip up that curvy highway thirteen and have a safe injury free game. Hope Linden can just at least make it a game or at least competitive. I hope i'm right but this is what this ol' man thinks if nothing changes: Waynesboro- 49   Linden- 12

It may be a good game to watch with your third string in with our main guys. Give'em a lot of playing time before next season.

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
    • I've heard Powell from someone who talked to him. I saw the kid two days ago and I should of pulled over and talked with him and wished him well where ever he goes. It will be a ale of a loss for us because I don't believe we have anyone in the stable good as him from what I seen in the spring.
    • I would have to think that the firing of the 2 teachers is just the beginning of future moves.  If not, it is woefully short.  If the AC school board thinks that the damage is just limited to Clinton, they are sadly mistaken.  Any outsider would view the whole school system as suspect, and rightly so.
