If you think he's 5' 8" he was on somebody's shoulders. And chances are you would hear him before you saw him. You would know it if you saw him. Wearing jorts with a Wisconsin cap. And that's not stadium seats he has under his arm, it's tapes of Whinemoreland for Butch to see.

What? The Termite finally got back on the "T". Smith losses a game and he wasn't on the "T" all night. Well you always talk about the Postman height. From talking to several Smith Co. People I've found out that your not that tall either. Is this true? I don't know for certain but I do know after another loss you showed your true colors last night by not commenting on the "T"

Interesting point. Was listening to 104.5 The Zone out of Nashville during their 6-7pm high school show. A caller asked about about the running back from Livingston, and neither Murphy Fair nor Chad Withrow knew Linder's name. I thought that was total incompetence on their part, but also, the coaches of these more rural schools have gotta do a better job of getting their star players' names out there. The kid deserves to be recognized...imo. His stats are amazing!

I'm not sure about this year but in recent years no one was sending in LA's stats to the Tennessean. May be why they don't know him!

Must have been the wrong box. lol.  Good ball game.........for a half.  The better team won.  LA must make some very good adjustments at the half. I was impressed with #5 and #18.

Your right, I'm showing my true colors.....and your showing your intelligence. Might want to look before you pop off and look just a little stupid.

20 hours ago would have been about 10:00 pm. 1st post other than OCF.

And your right again , I'm not that tall either, unless your the same height as Postman, then I'm really tall.

Kind of a weak effort, but your welcome to try again....LOL...

Well my bad. I looked at the wrong post. Glad that you admitted the better team won. Honestly it would be great if one of our teams would do good enough to host a playoff game. So just maybe we could play against each other. I miss those days. Great ball games I'm pretty sure Motown won the last one correct me if I'm wrong. It was at the hole and raining a lot that night. I am taller than the postman if that means anything at all

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
