Good people in SC yes, competing for region titles in just about every sport, every year, not quite on the level of UH or La.

Not really...except for boys basketball. In the last several years...SC has been just as good as either the U or LA. Softball hasn't been as good the last few years. SC was dominant in softball for several years. Boys basketball is on the way up.

Who was LA soccer player that signed with UNC? Lol. SC baseball...2 3rd place finishes in AA. Individual A-AA golf title. 2 semifinals in football...numerous district & region titles. Softball...several district titles...2 substates...state tourney. LA & the U have beaten SC a total of 3 times between them in football.

Nobody disputes basketball. The U hasn't been so good. The argument is whether both LA & the U has done better than SC in all sports. Really...no.

LA and U have won the last 3 region titles in football, and I would say both will be favored to win their regions again this year.

    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.
