a passed dropped in the end zone away from beating SC two straight years after losing 21 seniors...every think you would hear that? Sorta like UT and UF, UF won in a close one but those programs headed in two diffrent directions. Anyhow...think LA girls will cruise in district tourn?

21 seniors...no excuse. SC lost at least that many every year for 10 years. Central Magnet is playing very well too. I think there will be some upsets.

true, but 20 of 22 starters left, that's tough for any 3a team. I think Herron will have senior classes like 13 year in and year out from now on. OK, I don't see MCM beating LA. MCM is very hard to figure out...specially with the York loss.SC had the best chance to upset them until injury....if Hacket got hot they could have upset anyone. I thought UH might be a contender, but LA is a bad matchup for them, they have UH's number. No inside presence for UH.

CM won at LA by 18 two weeks ago. They definitely have a chance to win.

Back on topic, LA the heavy favorite going into the district tourn. Anybody have a chance to pull an upset? I thought UH might, but they didn't look close last night.

When MCM's shooter is 'on' and the inside game stays out of foul trouble, they are a very, very good team.

LA and Upperman are co-champions regular season. LA won the tie breaker and the #1 seed the Bees #2. In the first round: LA plays #8York, Upperman plays #7Dekalb, #3 Central Mag. plays #6 Macon, #4 Smith plays #5 Cannon. I heard on WLIV that LA plays 5:00 Thurs. and Upperman at 8:00. District tourney played at Cookeville.

What's every ones projections on the four first round games? I'm going with:

 

LA over York by 20

Cannon county over smith county by 8

Macon county over central magnet by 4 (Macon finally puts it together)

Upperman over dekalb county by 4 (won't be surprised for this one to go the other way)

Central Mag. plays Macon Co. Fri. 13 at 4:30 and Smith Co. plays Cannon Co. at 7:30. Second round is on Sat 14.  LA/York winner plays Smith/Cannon winner 7:00. UHS/DeKalb winner plays Central Mag/Macon winner 4:00. Championship Monday 16 at 7:30.

Help me with this co champions please. Both had 3 losses & LA won the head to head (both games). How does co champion come from that? Is that the Mcwilliams format or 8aa format?

Would really like for DC to pull the upset here.

Anything can happen. We just need to put together a complete game. I wouldn't be surprised for DC to get blown out, or to pull a big upset. I believe we will make the game to close for comfort for the Bees, but ultimately lose. Hopefully our outside shots are falling, and we can play some good defense.
