This has been one heckuva football game. High school football at its finest. There is A LOT of talent on both of these high school teams. Thank you to CoachT.com for bringing the action to us live. Good broadcasting and coverage. I am a DB graduate and have followed Tribe football since I was yung'un. This year's team is by far one of the best and well rounded Indian teams I have ever seen. They never give up and no one player is singled out as "the Best". They may have lost this game, but watch out for the Tribe. My guess is they will go far in their championship run! ROLL TRIBE ROLL.

We have a rivalry again. Neither defense is going to allow them past Maryville.

I agree. Both teams have the offense to go far in the playoffs. Their defenses, however, will hold them back from making any significant noise.

How about that HUGE 3rd down conversion to Elijah Mathes to go up 42-35. What a catch and what a run afterwards! Mathes is a Junior, correct? The kid is a baller.

Science Hill made the plays in the end. They have such a combination with Bedard and then their speed. The entire play with McGue scrambling and finding Mathes who used his speed to break it was a top 10 play of the year.

Last year DB got tired in the 4th and I think this year the same. The illegal down field really hurt.

I was impressed by both kicking games. At this level a solid kicking game is such a weapon.

    • Starting to pick up for Sam. He has 4 or 5 offers now and more on the way. By mid season the Warriors should have 5 or 6 kids with offers.
    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
