Let's get down to the skivies of this game.  If your a Buc Fan what is the single biggest factor to your team winning?  Same for you Rockwood folks?  I've been wavering all week picking between the two.....and I think they are very close.  I guess my x-factor would be the kid I haven't seen (#6).  Wish Flair was going cause the ride in the rocket ship is quite the experience.

I have seen all the Boyd games this year and have watched Rockwood games on Hudl for Greenback, Tellico Plains, and GCA. Greenback runs the offense most similar to our offense with spread and zone read concepts. Boyd will have to throw the ball to get early lead and make RW play from behind. RW will move the ball on Boyd so field position is important for Boyd to not turn ball over and give up better field position. Boyd has been able to spread the ball around in the run game with #3, 5, 6, and 10 plus they are not turning it over. That has been the key the last five games plus not playing Red Bank, Notre Dame, and McMinn Central has helped. Boyd has blocked two punts in the last few weeks and has returned some kicks so focus will be to try to get a play or two in the kicking game. I think both teams will move the ball so key is finishing drives. I think this is a 21-14 type game.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
