Okay, the only thing the Ambassador is, is the Ambassador of ####. You may be right, Marion may come out and mercy rule us but the #### part is that your talking like MC is gonna be playing the practice squad. Most all of JC's players play both sides of the ball and are very, very in shape. Not to mention these guys stay in the weight room year around. Coach Loftis has these boys very disciplined and they believe in him and the way he runs the program, as they should. JC is outmatched but as I have previously read, you play the game for a reason and there is such things as upsets. JC is coming into this game 100% healthy with no injuries, and as long as they stick to the game plan this excellent coaching staff has drawn up then don't count them out. Give these boys a shot because they sure deserve one. The 3 boys you gotta watch out for are Josh Mee, Joseph Walton, and Bradley Murphy. These boys are some very physical play makers.

Talking about how good the coaches are?? Funny, some that were watching said that they were ready to fire em all right before you pulled the upset against eagleville. They are in the playoffs so they have a shot. I look for a very physical game and I hope y'all smack us in the mouth because I believe that trousdale will do the same next week to a larger degree to whoever wins.

I'm here to squash the rumor of Ross to FCHS

Consider it squashed!

I am not naive enough to say we will hold on to Ross long term, but I wouldn't think he would leave for a program like franklin co. He can and will eventually do way better than theirs. Hopefully he falls in love with Marion county though. He turned down a way higher paying gig to take this one so I am not sure it is all about money either. Maybe eventually it will be.

Back to the game, if Jackson county was hoping Marion would overlook them it sounds as though they have messed that up. Seems like lots of trash talking on social media from what I have been told. On a brighter note, it is a good thing we aren't playing them at their place. Word is that they haven't lost a home playoff game in 33+ years..........

cute, I guess since they have a losing streak on the road, they are overdue for a win.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
