#1 got hosed by tssaa. In the game vs harden valley he was supposed to be ejected is what they called in with on mon. He did not get ejected because the refs fixed the mistake during the game. They thought he threw his helmet but it got knock off by a HV players knee & that would have been 2nd personal foul but it did not happen and he didnt get ejected but the story was from tssaa he should have been ejected. He could have helped for sure but they would have still come up short. 

 

@sdot your right we lose the kicker and the DE but we have some depth on the DL. Some of that depth should get moved to the OL and probably will. Some good young talent on the way, but depth will be the biggest issue the numbers are just down since they opened HVA.

They did appeal! Got word on Thursday it was a judgement call so film was no good. It is a real shame but tssaa is indeed the joke everyone knows they are.

 Judgement call ?? Dang the Refs decided right then that it wasn't a Personal foul when they didn't throw him out ! That shouldn't be a Judgement call , it sounds like the TSSAA basically ignored what their own Refs actually called ... I guess we shouldn't be too surprised to see even more Stupidity from the TSSAA .

Great 1st half by Maryville. The 3rd quarter was a comedy of errors. Maryville regrouped and played well the rest of the game. Kelby Brock is a great receiver.

 

 

 

For Sevier County they deserve credit for never quitting. Duece Wallace is a great QB.

I thought he got the penalty for celebrating, not that his helmet came off. I was standing right there on the track when it happened. It was obvious it came off during the play. And that was a hard hit, I don't blame him for showing some emotion after that play. Tssaa is getting worse it seems. Seems like we lack depth everywhere but at receiver. mtsu is only one to offer that I know of. But several big schools have shown interest, 5 or 6 sec schools
