SweetScience
Fulton was on a 19 game win streak coming into that game and hadn't lost a single game on their home court. Actually, they hadn't even come close to losing on their home court. That is something to be proud of.
bounder
Went over to the game but had to park at the hospital and then couldn't get in the gym, just toooo many people. Played text with a parent that got there early to keep up with the score.
rebelwoman87
Went over to the game but had to park at the hospital and then couldn't get in the gym, just toooo many people. Played text with a parent that got there early to keep up with the score. It was packed for sure. I got there right before the girls game started and luckily got a couple of the last few seats. The gym filled up shortly thereafter.

bounder
We have a son that lives just across the street from the school, so MaMaw was baby setting while I was going to the game. I gave up at 7:15 and went back to the house. And played with the 4 year old and texted with a friend to get the scores.

bounder
David Clary is going to try to get it replayed on channel 15 in Oak Ridge. The lady giving me the scores would text faster and faster as the game heated up. Hate I missed it but couldn't get in the gym.
Dragon Tale
Y'all actually had some really good teams even before those years. I can remember some real good 80's teams with Ballinger and Weaver bros, and a guy named Booker. Haha that's funny about Freddy. That guy is one of a kind. I bet if you cut him black and orange would run out of him. Yes '89 and '91 teams went to the sub-state. Lost a heartbreaker to D-B in OT in '89. Ballinger hit a basket at the buzzer in regulation that was wiped off for walking smh and we were blew out by Science Hill with Damon Johnson and Shane Williams in '91. Had a couple substate teams in early 70s that lost to Fulton and some good teams in the early 80s with Reggie Wilcox, Jerry Everette and Patrick Cotter to name a few.
