If it were played at White House you could gaurantee all White House runs being first downs if the runner made it within 2 yards of the sticks. Might be a little different in Nashville though.

Hello firebird80 still a passionate alum I see, hope you are well. I will wave at you tonight from the visitors section. If your band marches I will sit with you at half time because they are the best in Middle Tennessee.

 

I will point out that the WH Defense totally shut down Giles County's D1 Receiver Recruit last week. He can explain that to the coach at Ole Miss. So it's not like we don't know how to play against great athletes. We've been doing that for a while now.

 

So here's to a well fought game and a barn burner. Firebirds and Devils oughta be smoking hot tonight. WHOO HOO Go Blue.

Pearl Cohn has owned White House in the playoffs under Brunetti. 2006, 2007, and now 2014. The previous two times they beat White House in the playoffs they went on to lose to Knoxville Fulton in the semifinals. I look for them to play and beat the Falcons in the state title game in a few weeks.

79 guys to 36.  Our own media guys headline was "Pearl Cohn torches White House". Yeah they scored at will.  I will say this for the Blue Devils they were down 28 to 0 at the end of the first quarter, and they didn't just curl up and die and that's great character.  And it was a record for points scored against WH.  And it will be a great coaching tool for us in the future.

 

Because DAAAAAAAAMN. 

 

And I also want to say the Pearl Cohn players were classy about it after the game.  And that is well coached too.  Because they stomped the ever loving #### out of us.

 

The Blue Devils also had zero penalties.  And considering how frustrating the game had to be that was a fine thing too. 

 

And I did not leave early because they don't get to leave early when it's hard.

 

And next year the Region Championship will go through the Firebirds.  And for a program like White House that's used to being the region champion things just got real babies.

 

The band was great at half time too.  And the fish was killer.  So it didn't totally suck. But gee whiz if you don't beat Trevezant we're going to have WORDS.

So #14 graduates? Here's hoping WH works on containing the corner it's bothered me all year long.

And I did get to watch my oldest son beat Pearl Cohn.  So it's not like it's impossible. Lateral speed at linebacker.  We have a freshman that is going to be responsible for that next year he had several tackles Friday so we're not going to live in fear.  See you next year firebird80.
