Do tell?, The kids seem like they would run through brick walls for the coaches! They also had no problems in the way they handled Spring Practice and dominated in there scrimmages!

 

OP has been hit over the head by the SS too many times. Pay him no mind. Not too many folks know that much about every single team except a famous sportswriter....hmmmmm.

Feller, don't get feelings hurt! It ain't always about the players but theys them Skillet Slingers everywhere and a HEEP of SAKIA (Self Appointed Know It Alls). Them Jasper folkes dropped a mess of Rose Colored Glasses over the years and worn by others. BTW, ole Fesser Beene would be chuckling by all the mess going on with programs today. SP fell victim to some of that mess too, but "The Captain Is Back" and his legacy continues with several plank walkings! Yeah sorry about the intrusion on your thread but I was just having a little fun then haters got to hate I guess. They didn't beat any quality team but given talent pool they are lucky to finish .500. But to address you point GC will never be on a talent level with Knox Central and Tate is certainly no Cummings. So I don't see your point in bring that up. Good day!!!!

Thats right, no quality wins and only 4 in last six years. YOU said it low talent pool and espeacially low this year, and lower when the talent decides to run like cowards. The coach will be fine and at the least will get some quality wins in the next few years which will be improvement. Hope it works out for the free agent self or at least daddy proclaimed superstars out there. And Cummings runs the split back veer. You said the dinosaur offense didnt work,and he won 4a with Knox West with the dinosaur offense. But that was because of this or that....right? The break room is lively today, as Old Pirate posted yesterday, NJ most accommodating, downside.... Can he impress enough, them fellers from down under are always looking, SP close & needs experience @ QB, downside....Not the typical Pirate talent most have been spoiled by, SM not sure how a welcome back would go, downside.....likely stiff competion, Boyd a real challenger to Jasper, down side playing the the Swamp and Circle Flys, WHITWELL is a program lead by hard working coach, downside.....overcoming loser label, SC, new coach, new system, New QB from top of rock? Downside.....constant unrest amongst the Indian Nation and certainty of a quick return to the hardwood. You fellers knows OP ain't joking

His spread compliments his base veer. And if your gaining yards, who cares what your running play after play.

Sequatchie has several problems. Hopefully a change in leadership will help. We have been going in wrong direction for several years and now there are probably 20 kids not playing who would get considerable playing time. I expect another 3-7, 5-5 season. Okay, this is a South Pittsburg thread. Sorry. What is a realistic expectation for the Pirates this year?
