rtl112
Hampton and Cloudland always tough outs
rufus22
I believe I hit a nerve. I meant no disrespect, just pointing out that Cloudland hasn't been successful in the playoff. I was only stating my opinion on why this is. You can't sit there and tell me that you believe their region stacks up against Coalfield's or Greenback's. These teams have success because they have tough games every weak minus a few. This in turn prepared them for the playoffs and thus they have success. With that said, it's all a moot point because the east is playing for a silver ball regardless of who made it to the Championship game. rufus22
Pujo, if this is true, then that's good. Like I was trying to say in the previous post, a tough schedule helps prepare you for the playoffs. Lander obviously took offense to said post. 91LANDERS
It did strike a nerve. Pujo knows the story. I'm not elaborating on a public forum. Landers underachieved. Never said the districts stacked up. We can't help who t$$aa sticks us with. OOC games were against much larger schools AC, HV and JC all are AA classification. Weak in their districts but 3-4 times larger schools than CHS. We shouldn't beat schools that big but we do. HHS was a 2 point game, that we coulda shoulda won. Same as Coalfield. You can't beat good teams when your Qb has 6 turnovers even though total yardage is at a 50% advantage. Cloudland beat Cloudland in both of those games. The quality opponents took advantage of our mistakes. That's what good teams do. But Cloudland was not ran over in either of those losses. Again, underachieved! The east was a crap shoot, with a hand full of teams capable on any given night. Gonna leave it at that. Good luck Coalfield, enjoy the experience. I'll be there pulling for you guys. Anybody wants to meet up, just holler at me. I'll be on the fence outside the taca tent most of the weekend.

Cloudland loses alot of kids and will be somewhat down next season. This was their chance and they knew it.

Especially once this junior class is gone. This years jr's and sr's were a pretty special bunch. along with last years bunch, it's been some exciting Friday nights lately
