I was at the GC South Side game and GC played their worse game of the year. Looked like we didn't have our legs and definitely couldn't match the intensity of South Side. South was very quick and physical and will be a tough out in AA. IMO if your going to lose it is good to lose now and learn from it and I think we will.

Agree on all points.  GC has played twice (20) as many games as a lot of other teams.  I think 6 games over the Christmas break with very few subs may have taken its toll.  GC will be fine at the end of the year.  I expect to see them in Murfreesboro.  The South Side game will only make them better.

Raven Fair went off for 39 in the Tornadoes 69-51 win over Humboldt....UC improves to 12-8 and 7-1 in district play...

Raven Fair is the real deal!  I have seen her play and am very impressed!  She is UC's go to player and people still cant stop her!  She can absolutely take over a game!

Union City wins @ South Fulton tonight 48-41....Fair had 20 pts and K. Davis added 13 pts...

looking more and more like another gc vs uc battle for the district.. union city is the only team in the district to really make us play a full game.  I still believe gc is 10-15 points better this year.

Looks like it but in their only meeting AT Gibson Co. it was a five point game...55-50

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
