As much as i would like to say yes, it is a no.

They will have to travel one of the hardest roads ever.

To make it all the way they will have to beat an undefeated Hillsboro, once beaten Overton, undefeated Melrode, and undefeated Maryville. (if everything goes as it should.)

Thats the reason why 4A will be the toughest classification to win.

Aphool-Thanks for your kind words--and I'm still thinking about the game with WH. Most exiting game I've seen in a long time. You folks can be proud.

As far as Hillsboro winning-maybe...But they won't run away with it. They'd better not make any mistakes and they had better not get too confident. Tullahoma knows they are the underdog, but they also are not intimidated. If they bring their A game, execute and make no mistakes, it WILL be a game. Can't worry about Overton/Maryville, etc. If we are fortunate enought to play them fine-but the only one that matters now is November 15, 7pm at Hillsboro.

It"s a 2 edge sword. There are 7 or 8 teams that contribute to making 4A the toughest classification in the state. And these 7 or 8 teams will probably bow out (not without a fight) to Hillsboro from the West and Maryville from the East. Yet in some of the past years or in the future these same teams would have been playing in the finals. :o

Slim,

If you stop Calvin Bryant, there are two other backs who can burn any team with their speed. Hillsboro is not one-dimensional.

This will be good game -- two great coaching staffs and two good teams. The rain and mud slowed Hillsboro the first time they met. It will take a great effort by Tullahoma on a dry field to contain Hillsboro.
