Anyone on here from Coalfield know a guy named Doug Lowe? He would have graduated from there around 1965-68. I think he might have played football there. He's a friend of mine from Cumberland College, and I've been trying to find out where he is.

Doug is still around Coalfield.  He was a teacher here  but has since retired.

Yeah, the kid goes from winning three games in the regular season to playing for a state championship in the same season.

Very few kids will ever have that opportunity!

Yeah maybe I take it too personal, but I will shut up about it.  By the way I hope Zach Stewart plays a heck of a game Friday night.  I think he will be a dominant force for TN in the future.

J34 is as classy as they come. But I'm telling you he loves that football team more than anyone and he is going to call you out if there is disrespect going on. And just being honest there has been a lot of negativity from the CB side. I think a lot of it was from emotions taking over after the loss to Monterey but it is what it is.

Yeah you are probably right about emotions.  CF has had great season. Good luck in championship.

I too am pulling for Coalfield. I believe they finally get over the hump this year and get to Cookeville. Just getting to that game will be something the kids never forget.
