Knowing blake like I do he will be hard to stop.maybe 35 carries in this game and just move the chains and keep peabody offense off the field. PurplePower68
Wanted Zeman to win Mr. Football so bad. Never met a more humble kid. For the Peabody fans that don't know, he changed his number from 20 to 1 his junior year in memory of a fellow student who lost her battle with cancer. All most opposing team see is a hard nosed football player but you will never meet a nicer young man. It's always "yes sir, no sir, thank you sir...." It's going to be very hard to see him play his last game for us.
Booger
Coach Ricky Ross- eight straight region titles as defensive coordinator for Calhoun. Calhoun reached Georgia’s Class AA state title game five consecutive seasons, including a championship in 2011 with an upset of nationally-ranked Buford. During a 29-game winning streak over the 2011-12 seasons, Calhoun’s defense allowed just five opponents to score more than 14 points. Just a young defensive coordinator but his resume is nothing to scoff at. No doubt Ross can coach too.....he has done an incredible job coming in and taking over that mess the previous coaches made......Seen bunches of good FB at MC back in the day and hope to see that whistle blow a bunch on Friday

It's nice to hear about a player on a personal note instead of just an athlete. No doubt this game will be played with heart by both teams. I'm really looking forward to it.

Goldentide99
Just having a look at the 2 deep and roster released on the TSSAA website, Peabodys d-line stacks up quite well with the size of MC

GoldenTide50
really looking forward to this game....would think that my ole' Warriors are probably a little bit of an underdog; the overall speed of Peabody is understood......but the MC running game definitely has to be respected.....maybe what appears to be a little size advantage for MC in the trenches will help with the run game the rain that is in the forecast; depending on what 50 or 60% actually lays down during game time would be presumed to be in MC's favor...time will tell Adamsville had the size advantage as well by a lot. PeabodyPride
Adamsville had the size advantage as well by a lot. MC doesnt look as big as Aville for sure. The run defense looks stellar, some of the pass coverage looks suspect! Coach woods will adjust well as usual hopefully.
