Ok, back to the new/old coach. What kind of offense and defense is he going to bring out in 2015? He's run about everything through the years it seems.

On offense Victoroy has always been partial to the chaos\fission offense.  Critical Mass in no particular order with a highly charged particle spliting the defense.

You obviously think Coach Grider just gives the ball to a fast guy and he runs with it like Forrest Gump. Come on now, you know better than that for sure.

You can't really argue with success.  It may not stroke the ego but it gets the job done.  The dog may not have papers but if he can hunt, yer gonna put him in the field.

That is correct. We have local teams that have 10 times the athletes SP has and they can't win. Athletes help for sure, but it takes a coach that works at it and puts those guys in positions to be successful as well.

You made the NATIONAL MORNING SHOWS.  Puts ESPN to shame.  Only thing that ESPN would be interested in is sabotage of an electrical substation during a game or that surveillance video of Vicky rubbing ICY Hot into RR's atheletic supporter.

That Dawkins lady doesnt have anything to do with Griders school. We all no why your school was on espn. You think im joking but I promise I ain't.

What is worse, dumb jock football coaches displaying their ignorance and limited artistic ability or the smart people that were elected because of their intellegence telling the world that they are really just spoiled brats who whine and cry if their kid doesn't get to play/eat Harvey Burgers and get the coach to quit whine and cry when anyone disagrees with them and want to silence them.

*People who say anything against the majority in Pittsburg should have their profiles locked and made to publicly acknowledge their transgressions.

You'll get my vote. Cudos to the sole member who didn't forget what country he lived in.

On topic, suggest Vic recruit Roy, Glenn and team69 for coaches next season. Hole nocking team with run fast(er) runners who will do it all with class, and a HC that won't tolerate and don't need the railbird advice. Instant winning combination. JMO

Now that dust has settled, waters calmed and storm has spent itself, want to say that Coach Moore was the most underpaid coach in Tennessee this year. Diminished talent pool, impossible schedule, unrealistic fan base expectations, and an increasingly embarrassing tidal wave of critism from every direction, its admirable the man even finished the season without walking out. He deserved better and good luck to him.

Old Pirate is waiting to hear about the posse of skillet slingers and Self Appointed Know It Alls / SAKIAs given the boot from the athletics in SP. OP ain't joking neither, hope the Captain restricts a roped off section for them birds to sit amongst each other to hold down contamination of the general population. Edited by OLD PIRATE

MC is probably a 7-3 team but I will quit bugging you guys. It's fun to poke at the sp people but I know you guys are happy and it's a good thing to see a coach care enough about the program to want to see it back where it belongs. Never was a Vic fan but like I said early this season he helped a very good friend of mine (and a Warrior player) get a scholarship when he didn't get any help from his own coaches and that's pretty cool in my book.

dingleberry, it's not a law it is company policy and the National News Strories on the policy are not negative stories. They are reporting the incident they are not laughing as were the ESPN guys laughing and making jokes about your program and community. Not even close in comparison. A policy VS criminal activity.

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
