cbg
IMO, the only obvious change would be Trey Chalifoux should be #1 @ 120. He wrestled 113# at Super 32 and found that the weight cut was too much. Has competed most of the season @ 120# but does bump up to 126# during some duals to help his team. Chalifoux is a career 125/lb wrestler in college. Edited December 17, 2014 by cbg
useit
if I'm not mistaken Caleb Canada was voted Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Cleveland Duals. He beat Nich Naughton from Father Ryan.
Taxman
It's almost too early to rank these guys due to kids dropping down or going to another weight class after Christmas.
HSDAD
Could you enlighten me with intellectual intellegince and share your own rankings so i can finally have some accurate rankings on here? It's his opinion. His rankings. If you want to see "Lil Johnny" on top, spend the time to do your own rankings. The ranking guys like match input, but they don't usually adjust for opinions. YOUTHCOACH16
Was the pin a fluke or is Powell the real deal this year? Seems like he has turned some heads early on. Saw where he beat a returning state champ, but lost a couple in Cleveland. Tough question to answer as Powell wrestled for me for many years as a kid and Ezra is a friend of ours. Powell can wrestle and has the potential to beat anybody he faces at any given time. That being said he is kind of funky, limber and sometimes gets into awkward positions. Sometimes this enables him to score some points where others might not but it also leaves him open to get caught at times. The match with Ezra earlier in the year was tied 4-4 in the third, Powell chose bottom, Ezra locked up a cradle, Powell slipped an arm out and reversed him and got the pin. Both wrestlers looked very solid against Father Ryan and wrestled error free. In the rematch with Powell and Taylor , Ezra wrestled a very physical ,solid match and avoided any crazy positions. If I remember correctly I think he started off with a big throw and got 5 right off the bat but my may matches could be running together. Even though there have been some lop-sided scores between the three of them I think they are all good enough to beat the other, just depends on who wrestles better that match. YOUTHCOACH16
Youthcoach, Where did Powell beat Taylor at? Didnt Taylor beat him at the Cleveland duals? Also, is your son healthy now? I see he just started wrestling. Powell beat Ezra at Sonoraville. Yes, Blake is healthy , he just has to get into wrestling shape and knock some rust off. We are going to the Kansas City Stampede this weekend so he better get ready quickly, lol.
Sommers
This reminds me of trying to predict Cleveland's Oliver and Daisy's Stephens a few years back.

There will definitely be a lot of very good wrestlers there this year. I love attending and look forward to CBHS heading back in the next few years. Hopefully you guys do well. Back on the rankings topic... still a lot of kids in the wrong weights and matches that were just clearly missed when putting the rankings together. If you are going to do these it is going to take a lot of time... particularly if you are going to do both divisions together... that just amplifies the work. Good luck... the time commitment involved is why I no longer publish my DII rankings.
westernwrestler
Ghouse is certainly correct here. At 220 you seem to have forgotten about All American and previously nationally ranked Sammy Evans. He is a hammer yet you dont have him in the top 5? He was actually nationally ranked (on flowretstling) prior to his injury.

I was excited to see how our team stacked up but I just found out we will be without Murphy and Reynolds this tournament. Without those two and no 182 lber it will be difficult from a team perspective. What was the highest you guys placed Garrett?
Sommers
I know the Bro's and Collins Hill have represented us (the SE) well there. Not sure anyone from our region of the country has done any better than the Bro's in recent years
