Teams aren't what they used to be so I just watch certain players now a days... I can watch Trinity and usj also but besides trinity, usj, and south side its hard to watch hs basketball now

I like watching south side but I don't really support any specific team. I support tigrett middle school! I'll tell anyone that visits Jackson that they have to see tigrett middle school play lol!

I teach at West.... Tigrett had a very good team this year.

Well, Tigrett sure has had some talent over the years. I coached the MS game when TCA played Tigrett 4 years ago with Hicks and McNeal. TCA was shooting a one and one with no time on the clock and game tied. We missed it and lost by 2 in OT. One of the best MS games I have ever seen. Lots and lots of talent on the floor that night. I knew that SS and TCA would both be successful over the next 4 years and they certainly have. We didn't play Tigrett this year but I heard they were pretty darn good!

Greer is very talented was just on a bad northside team. He is IMO the 2nd best junior in jackson behide Hughes from USJ. hughes is arguably the best player in jackson IMO. If Hicks is back with Greer southside is BACK hands down. The most talented team in west Tn hands down.

How can this Greer kid play at 4 high schools in 3 yrs

I seriously doubt Cope was serious about his comment on Hicks being all hype. He was probably trying to get a rise out of somebody. Cope knows his stuff and I'm sure he knows Hicks can play. Hicks is an outstanding talent and is a warrior on the floor. He earns his points when he plays. Very hard worker. Hope everything works out for him.

No...he wasn't even on the sideline with the team (as he has been) against Fayette Ware the other night. I'm almost positive that I saw him through the double door in the hallway outside the gym...interesting.

I don't know if it's necessarily weaker I think the teams at the top have just changed really. Once it was Bolivar, Liberty and Raleigh Egypt now its Haywood, Westview and Lexington.

when did westview enter this conversation??? why wouldnt you say haywood, SS and lexington???
