Game Night Tonight! I'm looking forward to seeing these young men take the field tonight. We will definitely have a good measuring stick against the Smoky Bears of Sevier County. The SC quarterback will be a great test for our very young defensive backfield. Excited to see our RB's tonight as well. Hoping both teams walk away healthy with some good practice time.

1st rd of the IFL. I have a feeling the Mountaineers will be 1-0 after the game tonight. I heard they even had a pep rally and all for this season opener.  :roflol:

I'm not like some other people on the other side of Blount County. I'm not desperate for moral victories. I'm just looking for our guys to get some good reps and build on experience. I respect SC and what they have built. I look forward to the scrimmage. A win for us would be an injury free game. Good luck and safe travels to James D Lillard field.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
