It was anybody's games. Cannon gave up two earned runs. CCS gave up two earned runs.

 

Base running mistakes and untimely errors did the Bees in. Final 3-2.

 

CCS is a good team. Wednesday's game has the potential to be a good one.

Jennings from Dekalb received an offer to play at Ole Miss.

Cannon finished the 2015 season with a 0.25 earned run average.

 

And he was the workhorse of the staff, throwing a team-high 56 1/3 innings as he compiled an 8-1 record. In 11 appearances, including 10 starts and seven complete games, Cannon struck out 106 batters — just over half of the 201 he faced.

 

The opposing forces only hit .129 against him and just 12 batters were fortunate enough to draw a walk on him.

 

“He threw the ball well for us,†Johnson said. “We had some pretty good defense behind him, but when you’re getting 18 strikeouts a game, it’s pretty easy to play defense behind him.â€
