Why isn't there much talk about that Murfreesboro school that beat Page 6-0? Especially after Page beat CPA 3-0 and tied Brentwood 0-0

Wow. I like to think that I have been around this state and watched a lot of soccer (and other sports). I have NEVER heard of this Mint Chocolate Muffin school that you're trying to tell us about. Nobody is talking about you because nobody is impressed by you. "We beat so and so who beat so and so who beat so and so who beat the defending champions SO WE'RE THE DEFENDING STATE CHAMPIONS!!".....please.... Either you are a player for the team or the mother of the coach. Either way, you won't make it to state so it won't matter. I'd offer to send you a postcard from Murfreesboro but I'm sure you can just pick one up yourself....

Elmer I am not a player but I will assume you are a page fan your team plays very well and will go pretty deep in the post season it is my understanding page had two injured players who did not play against central

I am not a Page fan, but I was impressed with their result over CPA.  

 

Think further east and you might figure out where I originate from.

Ha, I will say that soccer is the superior sport but soccer fans can learn a lot on the art of trash talking from football (American) and LAX fans. {A for effort} 

 

And this is truly a dispassionate opinion...I do not know anyone associated with either program... I just got a kick from reading the banter. Carry on!

Was getting ready to say the same. This forum advanced 20 years on the strength of today's posts. We need more of this.

Mhmmm... And how'd that turn out for them? Also, last year is last year and this year is this year, right? Just like how I got dogged for saying how great CPA is, you can't stand on last year's merits either. 👌🽠and if I'm being completely honest, I've never heard of DeKalb either. Do you have a soccer team?

Yall best watch out for Dekalb Countys deadly through ball. I saw my son score versis Murfreesboro Central in the first half and we were unstoppable. They got a few lucky goals on us but dont underestimate us. #statebound

Coach T has the score as:

 

MCM:  5

Dekalb:  1

 

Is that correct?

      While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
