What are your thoughts on the beech and dobyns Bennett match and ND and Alcoa. I know the Alcoa match could be a pretty good one!

alcoa/ND will be fun. I saw where Alcoa won a couple weeks ago but Notre dame is always strong at year end like Greenville. Alcoa may have a little too much firepower though. Same with beech/DB. It could be close depending in pins and bonus points but I don't think Dobyns has the fire power to win . From about 126 up with the exception of a couple weight classes, beech is stronger than most. They've got 5-6 potential medalists there.

I would love to see Region 7 win. I just cant come up with a scenario where the cats win. Even with movement, they fall short.

Fine coaching only goes so far. I have watched W.C. warm up, in the stands, and on the mat. There are too many individuals. It would take

A strong team that believes like . . . "remember the titan half time speech" to win this year.

If you have visited the Cleveland area, you would know that everyone knows wrestling-Everyone ! It's in their genetics. It's history and they are family !

There must be a group of leaders demanding that each wrestler raise their intensive level to the max.

at Every practice and on the mat. That show (by example) their teammates how to succeed and how to contribute to the team. They must be shown, and they must All believe. They must wrestle as a family against all comers.

Kramer and Hamm have done amazing things with those kids. Just wish it was enough.

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
