Hopefully David can update us on how all is going! Live in Illinois now LOD! Just a couple miles from the Wisconsin border. Sure do miss Tennessee and Murfreesboro though! The football in Ohio or Illinois is not quite as good as Tennessee! My opinion of course. 2004 and even 2005 Riverdale teams were the last really great teams i had the privilege of watching. Did not see that caliber of football in Ohio or Illinois.

I got to see Canton McKinley first hand when Gallatin went up there a few years ago. Let me tell ya I was throughly impressed by Ohio football in that part of the state. That team went 7-4 and I bet they would have been in the top 4 down here that year. Those fans were rabid and the entire weekend was nothing but high school football on TV and local talk. I guess it depends where you go.

Hello GWAVE! That team actually went 8-3 that year. Lost in the first round of the playoffs. Canton McKinley is a little stronger area for hs football up there as is Cleveland and Cinci areas. Canton Mc should be a strong program yearly but I know the last 6 years or so they have had several coaching changes so have had issues with consistency.  One of the reasons they have not contended for a title in Ohio in some time now. Hope your well and hope the Green Wave have a great year this fall! Best wishes!

Maybe Gallatin went 7-4 that year...getting old. That area was football crazy and they had some really good players that year. I was impressed. I have heard they had a lot of coaching turnover the last few years but I will always have good memories of getting to play in that stadium and against that tradition.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
