Mt Juliet lost the the only game breaker they had in Chowbay but since they are playing in a weaker district with a soft non district schedule they will easily win 7. As far as coaches leaving I would guess they were encouraged due to the 9-12 record in the last 2 years and the defense giving up over 30 points a game last year.

Coach was not encouraged to leave. It was his decision. Defense was not called by one coach. Coached discussed what they wanted to run in certain situations.

The scoop on that is uncle and brother got a job a cookeville who are close friends with Maynard. So the whole family was coaching and dad wanted to coach with brother and cousins. Family move.
