Region 1A: Thoughts?

That's what I was wondering. I've never seen such a battle to get the tourneys played. The girls sub-state is saturday, and the girls state is next week. They have a limited window to get the state tourneys played at MTSU, so if the weather keeps throwing these snow-bombs, what will they do?

I'm assuming if they couldn't get any played they would go to the top seeds from the districts. Then to determine who gets the home sub state there would be some kind of deciding factor. But I'm not sure I've never seen a time there's been this much trouble getting the games in.

I'll not be surprised to see them play Wednesday...But very surprised to see them play Thursday with weather they're calling for.

This would push games into Saturday....Possibly Sunday?

And don't believe the forecast until you see it, Its already  changed from a warning to a watch. Much more of this and the kids will have to learn to read and write again.

Okay, okay, who else wants to tell Jay Bilas to shut his mouth? He ruins every college game he calls especially if it's a UNC or Maryland game.

I would love to have the opportunity to tell him to his face to shut his dukie mouth...just saying

:D

I loved it when it was UNC @ Duke and Brad Daugherty was on the set of the Nationwide Race a few years ago. ESPN had the race and the game later that day. They went split screen with Jay/Brad and Brad said, "Jay, we're gonna come over to that High School gym tonight and take care of business!" Bilas was speechless. Best few seconds of his broadcasting career, then he opened his mouth again.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
