I do have faith and confidence. It didnt take Perry County long to build a program and I dont see it taking Summertown a long time. I look at who they are playing and I see winnable games. Very winnable games.

Perry County is still building, they had a couple good years with Tucker and company but overall they're stuck at the bottom. Summertown might pull one off against Richland or Cornersville but I wouldn't bet on it.

I can definitely see a win over Richland. You are also not looking at Grace Academy, the new school in Franklin. They will be in their first season as well and I believe we can and will beat them too

Vandy may be right. When I said earlier that Rome was not built in a day, I meant that the road to respect is a long, hard one...one, two, and even some three win seasons are not impossible if you can get the required number (most) of kids to try out, they buy in to the system (even after some dismal losses), and the fans continue to support them after the same losses.

   It may take a few seasons for the Eagles to compete with some of the better teams, but there are some teams out there that are beatable, even by a very young program, provided that they believe in what they are doing (and of course how hard the coaches worked to schedule those teams).

Completely agree and not sure why he didn't get the chance to keep building the program either.

ditto. Jakes a great guy who worked hard to get that up and coming, and then just got snubbed. Not a real classy move by administration.
