Booger had just moved to the state of TN the previous year.and settled in Jasper. Had the opportunity to lay witness to this team. Booger went and sen this team a few times over the next 4 or 5 years. The athletes this team was dressing was about as talented Booger had ever seen. That Hickey kid was pure lightning (untouchable)....think he was a senior that year....the talent was so think that the Cobb brothers were backups and a guy named Stephon Woods replaced them....coach monroe coach this team to something like a 64-2 (4 championships maybe) record my first 5 years in TN.....the Cobb kids had a great career at Memphis ; dont think the other 2 got past friday night

 

to top that, in Jasper during that same time frame where Booger and Boogerette had moved, Marion County Warriors were on a 56 or 58-1 run with Eric Westmoreland toting the pig....

1993 was Dantes junior year. And I may be a little bias because I was part of this team, but Dante was the best athelete high school wise that I had ever seen. The Cobb twins were starters on the 1993 team but Dante was just a raw talent that played every skill position on the field. Lots of memories and doesn't seem like like its been 22 years. And I remember watching Marion CTY back in my time. Westmorland was fun to watch
