You are right, Halls did beat Maryville 32-7 in 96.  They also lost 5 fumbles and only throw 5 passes and completed all.  Lost there best running back after the AC game with a torn ACL.

I remember that game. Preston Teague was their stud tailback. He ran for 250 plus against Maryville. Halls had a great team.

Could be wrong, but don't think Teague had 250 yds.  Do think Teague and Scotty Carter had over 250 together and Johnson had right at 100 yds that night.

These are all great teams but the best teams ever have not been mentioned. They are the 1971 and 1972 teams from TN high. The 1971 team finished #4 in the nation (TC Williams from remember the Titans was #2) and the 1972 team was the #1 ranked team in America.
