Want to get this in before the game. Big mistake! No idea why Heritage would want to play Maryville and Alcoa and the same for WB vs Alcoa. I'm sure someone will come out with the root of all evil excuse.

As good as the "moral building" reason sounds, because wb has played those teams a lot before the new coach arrived, I think it is something a little more. IMO - WB plays murvil because they are in the same region. I assume they play alcoa for the $$. Alcoa likes the $$ but really likes the opportunity to recruit some kids out of the county. I guess hairtage plays wb, alcoa, and murvil for the $$ - being 5A they are not required to play any of them. And each of those 3 like playing hairtage to recruit players away from the foot of the mountain. So I guess it's a give and take situation.
