This is in fact a football thread where every one was strictly talking about football, DINGUS. Your original comment was directed towards football. No matter what you want to say, you implied it was football transfers. Nobody said anything about basketball or any other sport until you were proven wrong, and started to backtrack in hopes of convincing folks otherwise.

 

You've been weighed on the scales—and you don't measure up!

Only a Neanderthal would draw that conclusion. It's was a thread that adressed transfers. If you're going to quote movies how about using Tropic Thunder because you've clearly gone "full" with your post.

 

BTW I was with Ingle a few weeks ago and know the parents of several kids there. I've known Ingle, his parents and his family for 45 years so I'm knowledgable about his program. Just because you inferred something doesn't make it so. Don't be a moron and better yet don't show it again when you assume then post.

Players coach....last time I checked this is a Football thread.   UC Sportsfan. There are 26 seniors on CPA's football roster. 15 have been there since Kindergarten / Rest came in middle school

Say what you will, but everyone knows the truth. Like I said, this is a football thread where football was being discussed. This makes 2-3 times you've said you know Ingle like it makes you special or something. Congratulations, but nobody cares. You're probably lying anyways. If you really knew him you wouldn't be throwing his name around like you are.

You clearly are a knuckle dragger and I've not said one negative thing about him or the football program. Just admit you assumed something and were wrong. My relationship with Ingle means I know his program in depth. Right? Once again nothing I've said about his program is disparaging and actually is to the contrary if you read my posts.

 

Next time you want to pop off just stop and think, then DONT type it. You'll be better served to take my advice.

I didn't assume anything. You're comment was clearly about football. Once again you felt the need to bring up his name and pretend to know the in's and out's of the CPA program. If you actually knew him or the football program, then you wouldn't of made the comment to begin with because you would of already known they don't have any transfers on their football team.

Good grief dude just stop. You're making yourself look stupid. Nothing was negative about football. I don't have to back track for anything. It's funny though. You've been handled easily so now I'm a liar and fraud. Any CPA parent can verify my connection with Ingle by asking him, Omer, Wegner, Thorn, Pascarella, Ingle himself or a few of his coaches. I've named names now fella. What kind of lame response are you going to make now? I can keep this thrashing going if you'd like or you can just stop. I don't even need an apology from you.

 

Read my history and see just how complimentary I've been of Ingle his program before you start making goofy and untrue statements again. Govern your actions accordingly or you'll continue to look foolish.

Back to the topic.........

 

Cougars are 0-3, but did get a TD this last Friday.   I don't see things letting up with this schedule as FRA is rolling into town after beating DCA.   Think we might be able to catch Whites Creek or East Nashville as both of those programs seem to be struggling.   We had some opportunities to score, but just shot ourselves in the foot.   Hopefully, we can grow on offense.........it can't get too much worse.   2.3 ppg isn't going to beat too many people.  

 

Probably need to schedule Pickett County for next season.  

 

Coach Martin is looking pretty good right now.   Perry really ran this into the ground.

Btw I am a huge fan of Ingle and what he's done there. He and I have talked in person about it a few weeks ago.

So you are a fan of cpa recruiting in DI - just trying to clarify because you have to a fool if you don't think that is happening there at least Ensworth MBA and BA are doing it in DII.

      OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.

      They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.

      The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.

      I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
