Drewcephus
Sad news in Paris tonight. Jimmy "Fitz" Fitzsimmons passed away today. Fitz was a tough and great guard on the 1949 championship. team at Paris' Grove High. An avid golfer and outdoorsman he was the scoreboard operator at Henry County games for many years. He served his country for many years as a Sgt. in the National Guard. He was a good friend to me and many others and will be missed. Sorely missed, but never forgotten...rest in peace Fitz!

kwc
I don't have the correct to the number stats, but I would say it was more like 60-40 passing. They did try to run enough to attempt to keep it honest, but it was quickly snuffed out. Their shorter passes also didn't do to well. Like you said, it was the bombs that got them their yardage. olddevil
Freshmen won tonight 16-0 over Camden. The Lions fought hard but kept fumbling the ball away. Our Patriots scored twice in the final 4 minutes.Earlier in the week the Pat JV beat Camden 12-6. GO BIG RED

redblooded
Has anyone heard that Northeast will not allow the Henry County band play at the football game? The band will not be attending tonight. Truth or rumor? Edited September 4, 2015 by redblooded
Red Warrior
Has anyone heard that Northeast will not allow the Henry County band play at the football game? The band will not be attending tonight. Truth or rumor? How can they "not allow" a visiting band to play? I've never heard of such a thing! redblooded
Me either. They wouldn't allow them to play y their halftime show. Not even prior to the game.
devilsden
Was this a school decision or a system decision? I know someone I could call to verify this situation.
