If you hit the big play you go up 21-0 and you get the ball coming out of the half. It was a risk. I expect Dresden to kick onside to start the half

they took their shot with the pass down the sidelines and it didn't work. Why kick onside down 8?? Make UC drive the length of the field and prove they can hold on to the ball

14-6 at the half, Dresden returned an INT for a TD as time expired.....

 

You can be fully capable of passing but if you don't do it regularly in games, bad things can and will happen.....

Middle of the field is open but dresden going deep. Turnovers and drops killing the Lions. Defense playing decent. Quick pass game is non existent for dresden. Not one bubble or slant. Tgis will be a good game in playoffs. UC brought out passing game. Kinda went into this game wanting to see if we could play with UC. Definitely know we can...tonight has been too many mistakes so far to beat a god team. But they are still in it. Refs been unusually good. UC is stout up front. Impressive. They made some bad mistakes too. Ok game. Hope the Lions bring their A game on offense in second half. Haven't run the ball worth the crap either.

If you kick it deep and UC goes on one of their 8 minute pound you to death drives which happens all the time, the game is all but over.

Totally agree. Think he was just going for the jugular on that. I also don't understand why we aren't throwing to middle of the field.

Behind the linebackers has been open all night. DB's doing great job on our receivers. RB caught a big pass in the middle 2nd quarter

I am not there and I guarantee that UC is playing man on the perimeter and spying the ab. If Dresden runs a divide or a crossing route, the middle will not look so open.
