I will take a page from Roy Dillard.Are these writers too durn lazy to find out whats really goin on!In my opinion is pure lazyness,they get paid to know this stuff and their not doin the work!

It has been my experience that a great deal of Sports Writers need to drop the first word and just be writers.  Many do not know enough about sports to write about them because they either a. never played or b. just worry about making a deadline and not about promoting the teams/ kids of the community they work in.

Also troublesome is overuse of cliche buzzwords like "contest" and "booted". There were a dozen others. Who are these writers emulating?
