I miss Bertier as well but in all honesty this playoff system is a lot more cut and dry. By the last week or two everyone should pretty well know who they are playing.

Though I am glad to see the old system go, there was something special about staying up late the last Friday night of the regular season awaiting Gerry to finish his quadrants.

Man, you guys know how to make a guy feel missed.

 

I will say the moment the TSSAA went away from the Z plan, I was a little depressed knowing my stock value on the T was going to plummet thanks to the simplicity of this system. But for old times sake I will put out my predictions on how I think the regions will end up on a new thread. I may even throw in my Top 10 teams.

 

I think we can all agree that we love this time of year, where teams are fighting for playoff spots and positioning each week.

      While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

      stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
