WaCoJaCo
Impressive numbers put up by the Jeff County quarterback. Did he throw any interceptions last night? A defender would have to at least be in the same zip code as the receiver to make an interception. That was not the case last night.
wingman10
Bashing is a little strong of a word to use in this case. As for me I'm simply using my right as a city tax payer to point out that a city worker is not doing the job that I am paying him to do. The way I see it, (and I'm pretty sure the stats and facts back me up) DB would have only one loss at this point if we had even a average coach on the defense side of the ball. I'll walk that back just a tad. Holt is a pretty good coach. The rest, Salyers, Flemming and Barrett have no business coaching at the high school level. A lot of people have laid the blame on coach Clark but as far as coaching ability I still think he's still got it. How would you like to sit down and come up with a offensive game plan knowing that your defense probably couldn't slow down a middle school team (yes it's really that bad). Now maybe it's Clarks own doing, I don't know. I still can't find out who is responsible for these hires. If it is Clark then he is his own worst enemy here. I do know this for a fact. When DB started taking a slide backwards in all sports was the very day that this current so called athletic director took the job. It still boggles my mind why you would name a guy as AD that had just finished single handedly destroying your basketball program. The problem with the football team is not the players. If they come back with these same coaches on the defense side next year DB will not win a single game. Have to make a change. it is very tough at most schools to change assistants in this day and age

DBGRAD70
Reading another thread about TN High game and came across a comment about TN High coaching from Cap1. I think it applies to DB as well. Backing off on the one person responsible for this team is fool hardy. Cap1 about TN High coaching: "I hear some on here trying to blame tonight's dog stomp on the players performance. But performance is only a reflection of preparation (at this level), and preparation is a reflection of leadership (or lack there of)!!!!!!! If this was at a higher level than high school football this coaching staff would be escorted to the door solely on tonight's performance of this team!! This team is not lacking of athletes, size, speed, ability, depth......... but we are struggling to stay 500 with a schedule with virtually 3 and one half teams on it (if we're being honest). Why is that???! I have always felt like this O cordinator was only as good as his best player year after year, but I now have to question the person that allows him to make these decisions that he makes" He was not applying it to DB but it absolutely applies to DB as well. kingindian33
Yep .. Terrible coaching , especially when we have 2 great former DB and college d-backs living in Kingsport !!! They both are smart and teachers of the game - Graham loves both and knows they could be great at coaching "I feel as if he doesn't want to hurt the buddy system feelings he has now" - he has to see this terrible coaching !! I think Barrett is trying to set some kind of new record.
