I was also hearing that the guy from Forrest was the front runner but now I'm hearing there is a new guy from Munford. That is going to give him a run for his money!

I have heard mc is loaded. There will be lots of wins with Osteen there and u are correct the gold ball goes through East TN. This has been a fabulous offseason for Giles...will be interesting over the next few weeks to see how the Giles staff rounds out...weight lifting and speed school start next week!

What days will speed school be?

Heard from a source in Giles County that all county employees are going to have to take a 1% pay cut in order to finance all the new positions and salaries for the Giles coaching staff. 

That is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, surely you could use the time you wasted opening your rocketsrule account, listening to your so called source, and typing that nonsense to do something more constructive.  :roflolk:  See everyone next season, this is not even worth posting on anymore.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
