I equate MTP to a team chock full of good players who don't always play like a team, but when they do they can boat race some folks.

Since we're living in the past, that 2A champ owned that eventual 1a champ in the 80s and 90s. Good luck tonight

Junior, it was the recent system we were talking about. However, if you want to go back in history, there was no 1a and 2a champs in the 1980s and very early 90s.  The classifications were A, AA, and AAA pronounced at the time as Single-A, Double-A and Triple-A.  No back to the point, the past several years, the top 4 or 5 1a teams have been able to compete and beat the top 2a teams.  It happened last year as well and both the defending 1a champ and defending 2a champs are in that watered down 1a as you called it.

I think 1/3 of the mascots in TN are "Tyggers."  Go Pirates, skin some Tyggers.

.... yeah, I know considering the past couple of weeks play... but let's hope attitudes and mindset has is changed and more focused/determined in these young Tigers.

 

They can pull it off if they just simply play good ball.

Well... you know how that PC crowd is now adays... give it a while and PETA will be in on the act eliminating animals as mascots saying it is just wrong to represent animals that way.😨

Keep them Refs in check over there tonight Ambassador... Don't let it get out of hand one way or the other. I want to be listening to a fairly called game. My Tigers don't need to be playing against the zebras too, that happened last week with 13 penalties and mTp took a beating.... Reputation says them Pirates don't need no help...😉
